On Friday, September 6, 2024, the following events are scheduled in downtown businesses:
10:00 – 11:00 am – LIVE Lapidary Demonstration @ Agate Surprise. Details here.
2:00 – 6:00 pm – Art on Frist Friday @ Downtown Art Place. Details here.
3:00 – 6:30 pm – Wine, Tea, and Treats Tastings @ Northwind Natural Foods Co-op.
4:00 – 7:00 pm – Downtown City Square Vendor Market. To participate with a booth, contact Mary @ kastenm426@gmail.com/
4:00 – 7:00 pm – Food truck vendors in City Square.
4:30 – 5:30 pm – LIVE MUSIC featuring Liz Mathias in the Pocket Park on the corner of Suffolk Street and Aurora Street.
5:30 – 7:00 pm – LIVE MUSIC @ City Square Pavilion features Live Music by “Afrozep”. If it’s raining, this performance will be moved to the Historic Ironwood Theatre.
This evening’s activities are supported by the MICHIGAN ARTS AND CULTURE COUNCIL, COPPER COUNTRY COMMUNITY ARTS COUNCIL, and the NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR THE ARTS.
