Author P.K. Perry will be at the Pocket Park in Ironwood (next to The Pines Restaurant) during Ironwood’ First Friday festivities to talk about her recently published book written for young readers as well as everyone who is young at heart. A beautiful story of a maple tree and a grey squirrel who have suffered some serious losses, the novel is filled with humor, nature, love, freedom, courage, equality, faith, and understanding of those who struggle with mental health issues. Books will be available for purchase with a portion of the profits supporting suicide prevention activities.
