Iron County Outdoor Recreation Enthusiasts (ICORE) is working with the Iron County Forestry Department to improve access to Corrigan’s Lookout, a popular scenic destination for residents and visitors to Iron County.
ICORE and Hurley High School’s Field Biology class have planned a workday on September 25 at 9:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m. The present trail has some wet areas, and Hurley High School students and ICORE volunteers will work to improve the trail for visitors to enjoy. A second date may be scheduled if more work is required.
Meet at the Corrigan’s Lookout parking lot on Highway 122, about 2 miles north of Upson. For more information, visit http://www.ironcountyoutdoors.org/events/
