The Diversity Matters History Study Group invites people to enjoy understanding our cultural and ethnic history through shared information and discussion!

  • 7-8:30pm, Monday, June 7: Tribal Nation History and Contributions
  • 7-8:30pm, Monday, July 5: Women and Immigrants in the Ironwood Mining Era

The group will meet via Zoom video conferencing.  Links will be sent out prior to each date.  Meeting venues may change and will be determined in accordance with state/local health and safety precautions.

The Diversity Matters History Study Group was developed by the Ironwood Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Team, a group formed through the City of Ironwood whose mission is to identify and create resources and support for valuable community conversations regarding diversity, equity, sexual orientation and inclusion in the Gogebic Range area.
