After a brief summer break, the Diversity Matters Reading Group is continuing their conversations! They are meeting IN PERSON (as well as by Zoom) for the first time since before COVID!

Their September book is Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man by Emmanuel Acho. This is a quick read with thought-provoking discussion! Acho also has a podcast you can listen to if you don’t have time to read the book
(https://uncomfortableconvos.com/). The book is available through Amazon Kindle, from the Ironwood Carnegie library, through Libby, and via Audible. The group was created in coordination with the Ironwood Carnegie Library and Gogebic Community College.

Please join them for important, and potentially uncomfortable, conversation… whether or not you’ve read the book!
Thursday September 26, 6 PM at Cold Iron Brewing or by Zoom.

If you are not on the email list for this group and would like to participate by Zoom, please email (cberickson5@gmail.com).
