Beavers are one of the few animals that have an amazing capability to alter their environment to fit their needs. While some find them to be pests, they do have positive impacts on the natural world. Join us at the Mercer Library on Wednesday, April 3rd at 12:00 p.m. to learn about the unique adaptations of this water-loving mammal, along with its role in our local forest and aquatic ecosystems.
This program will be presented by a naturalist from the North Lakeland Discovery Center, and is free and open to all. For more information, call the library at 715-476-2366.
