Join the Mercer Public Library for an online lesson in growing garlic with Extension Iron County Educator Darrin Kimbler!

It’s garlic planting season here in the northwoods, and Darrin will share what you need to know to successfully grow this tasty crop for harvest next year. There will be plenty of time for questions, too.

This meeting will be held online using Zoom. Please use the link below to register for this FREE program:

Darrin Kimbler serves as Iron County’s part-time Agriculture Extension Educator in part to provide horticulture information. Darrin and his wife, Eva Komosa, also own Taiga Farm and Vineyard, a small family farm near Lake Superior focusing on sustainably pasture-raised animals for fiber and meat, heirloom vegetable varieties, and five varieties of grapes selected to tolerate the short growing season of the Northern Great Lakes region.
