Join Extension Iron County Agriculture Educator Darrin Kimbler to learn about growing tomatoes in cool climates in a free Zoom presentation on Wednesday, March 24th at 10:00 a.m.

Kimbler will discuss the challenges of raising tomatoes in the northwoods and provide tips and information to help you become a successful tomato gardener.

Darrin Kimbler serves as Iron County’s part-time Agriculture Educator in part to provide horticulture information.   Darrin and his wife, Eve Komosa, also own Taiga Farm and Vineyard, a small family farm near Lake Superior focusing on sustainably pasture-raised animals for fiber and meat, heirloom vegetable varieties, and five varieties of grapes selected to tolerate the short growing season of the Northern Great Lakes region.  Darrin is part of the Extension Iron County office in Hurley, Wisconsin.
