Yellow Boy : A Sheriff Gogebic Novel

A missing person’s case is magnified when old related cases suggest that a serial killer has been stalking young girls in Steelville, Wisconsin, and transporting them across state lines into Michigan, creating jurisdictional problems for Sheriff Gogebic. The FBI, which has no such jurisdictional problems, is brought in, but they bring problems of their own. The Michigan County D.A. is running for re-election and the serial killer is well aware of the benefits of setting these forces against each other. Can Sheriff Gogebic sort his way through this maze and bring a serial killer to justice?

Swift lives in Mercer, WI during the summers and currently writes police procedural murder mysteries set in a fictional town in Northern Wisconsin, featuring his sturdy Sheriff Gogebic.

The event is free and open to all, and copies of the book will be available for sale. For more information, call the library at 715-476-2366.
