Try a new club this summer – the Cookbook Club at the Hurley Public Library!
Cookbook Club will be cooking from Mason Hereford’s delightfully weird cookbook, Turkey and the Wolf.
Food & Wine says of the restaurant the book takes its name from, “what makes [Turkey and the Wolf] so noteworthy is its gleeful balance of high-end chef techniques, international culinary mash-ups, and just plain fun.”
Inside, you’ll find recipes for classed-up bologna sandwiches, deviled eggs garnished with fried chicken skins, lobster tostadas, and even something called “McCaviar” (use your imagination!).
Stop by the library, select a recipe from the cookbook, prepare the recipe and share it at the club meeting.
They meet Thursday, June 29th at 6:00pm. See you at the library!
