This week we are going to paddle Wilson Lake, meeting at the boat landing Monday at 5:30 pm. This 155 acre lake has a maximum depth of 21 feet and has abundant panfish and large mouth bass. It is located on Popko Circle, so to get there from Mercer you would take Hwy 51 north to Cranberry Inn, turn left onto Cty FF, go about a mile to Popko Circle East. Turn left onto Popko and continue about 4 miles to Wilson Lake. The landing is on the left side soon after you get to the lake with just enough room to drive down, unload your boat and then go back up to the parking lot across the road.
