Join the Ni-Miikanaake Chapter of the North County trail on the fourth Saturday in September for a national celebration of the North Country National Scenic Trail and National Public Lands Day!
The Ni-Miikanaake Chapter will host a hike and cookout at the Presque Isle River Mouth in the Porkies on Saturday, September 24th. Meet at the Presque Isle River Parking Area at 9:45am CST, the Chapter will drop off all hikers at the Speaker’s Trailhead for an approximately 3 mile hike back to the Presque Isle River Parking area where the fun will wrap up with a cookout, some laughs, and a shared appreciation of our great public lands.
