Researcher Kelsey Prihoda from the Lake Superior Research Institute at UW-Superior will present the results of the Northwest Wisconsin Groundwater Monitoring Project in a public program on Wednesday, October 30 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mercer Public Library.
The study measured the levels of naturally occurring fluoride and other selected metals from wells in eleven northwest Wisconsin counties. The presentation will include a summary of the project results as well as recommendations for private well testing and local resources.
