Project Connect Nordic

  • This event has passed.

Anderson Bluffs & River Trails Foundation is excited to announce their second annual ski event on February 12, 2022.  It is named Project Connect Nordic Event in keeping with the Foundation’s vision to “SUSTAIN ABR’s LEGACY AS THE MIDWEST’S PREMIER NORDIC SKI DESTINATION FOR GENERATIONS TO COME; AND CONNECT ABR TRAILS TO LARGER COMMUNITY”.

This is a unique opportunity to ski 4 trail systems from ABR Ski Trails to Miners Memorial Heritage Park to Wolverine Ski Trails to the Iron Belle Trail if you choose.

Q: What do I need to do to participate in a fun filled family ski event?
A: Save the date – mark your calendar for 2/12/22

Q: How do I learn more about this Nordic ski event?
A: See our Foundation website: https://andersonbluffsrivertrailsfoundation.org/event-2022-project-connect-nordic-event/

Q: Who can ski in this cross country event?
A: Anyone can ski. Pick a captain and start calling family members, friends or coworkers over the holiday. There is no limit on the relay team size.

Q: What is the ski course route?
A: First, it is not a timed race event. Secondly, your team can ski any route they want – as far or short as they want. Some skiers may choose to ski one trail on each trail system. Thirdly, we will have a trail recommendation closer to the date if teams desire.
