The Iron County Farmers Market is open on Saturdays beginning the last day of June and running through the 2nd Saturday in October. We expect 25 – 30 local vendors throughout the summer to fill their tables with the region’s freshest in-season fruits, vegetables, and fresh herbs, plus home-made jams, jellies, maple syrup, honey, and home-canned pickles, beets, relishes & flavored vinegars. Other farmers sell fresh eggs, and locally raised beef, pork, lamb, and chicken. Our market also has a variety of fresh, home-baked breads, cookies, muffins, pies, and scones, including gluten free bakery.
Local artisans sell their unique, hand-crafted products including: straw brooms, shadowboxes, found object art, woodworking, fabric and yarn crafts, wool yarn, soaps & candles, jewelry, painted rocks, fresh flower bouquets and more.
Be sure to enjoy a cup of coffee or lemonade with some home-made bakery from our Market Fundraising Table and sit and visit for awhile and enjoy all the sights & sounds our market has to offer. Follow our facebook page for details of special events and what produce will be in-season. There is a Free Make & Take Craft project each Saturday morning beginning at 11:00 am for the kids, and check out our new “Little Library” Red Barn book exchange. Book donations are always welcome!
