SUMMARY:WVFD Ice Fishing Contest
DESCRIPTION:It’s time for the Annual Wakefield Volunteer Fire Department Ice Fishing Contest! \nThis year’s event takes place on Saturday\, February 15th from 11 AM – 4 PM on beautiful Sunday Lake in Wakefield. \nThis coincides with Michigan’s FREE FISHING WEEKEND!\nThis contest offers registration FREE for kids under 3\, $3 for kids 3 – 12\, and $5 for kids 13 and older. \nSome planned activities will also include: Bingo from 12:00 to 2:00\, roll dice to win a tv game\, food including hamburgers\, hot dogs and barbecue’s\, WVFD tumblers for sale\, FUN-E-Business face painting & balloon twisting\, ice fishing with bait available\, 50/50\, and plenty of door and raffle prizes. \nAs a reminder $1000 of the portion of the 50/50 is reserved for our Ted Finco memorial scholarship. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far.
