Mercer, WI – NorthLakes Clinic will offer a free presentation on “Youth Mental Health: What Parents Should Know” at the Mercer Public Library on Friday, September 2 at 3:00PM.
It’s normal for kids and teens to go through mood changes, conflicts with parents and peers, and other challenges of emotional development. So how do parents know when their child’s symptoms may require extra support or medical care? Michaela Williams, behavioral health therapist at NorthLakes Community Clinic, will offer this free presentation for parents to help them recognize potential mental health needs in their children. Grandparents and others who work with kids are also welcome.
This program is free and open to all, and refreshments will be served. The event is sponsored by NorthLakes Community Clinic and the Mercer Public Library. For more information, visit the library’s website at mercerpubliclibrary.org or call the library at 715-476-2366.
