From the guys who brought you SixtiesMania comes an incredible musical salute to the brave men and women veterans of the Vietnam War.
The show features the songs and groups who brought a little bit of home to the troops during the tumultuous period of the late ’60s and early ’70s.
The show not only celebrates those iconic songs, but also salutes the entertainers who traveled to Vietnam to entertain the men and women stationed there.
Enjoy music that was so important to the troops, from groups such as Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Animals, The Box Tops, Johnny Cash, Nancy Sinatra, The Lovin’ Spoonful, The Byrds, Jimi Hendrix, and Jefferson Airplane, to name but a few.
The songs will be lovingly performed note-for-note to honor those groups that meant so much to our military.
“Tour of Duty – The Concert” is dedicated to keeping the memory and sacrifice of those brave men and women who served in the Vietnam War, alive.
This event will be held at the Historic Ironwood Theatre on Friday, August 15th. Doors and bar open at 6pm. Show starts at 7pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance here, or by calling the theatre box office at (906) 932-0618.
