In conjunction with Aspirus Ironwood Hospital and the Gogebic Range Health Foundation, Gogebic Community College will offer a healthy cooking class. CED 314: Cooking for the Health of It will run from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 7, Monday, Nov. 12, Wednesday, Nov. 14, and Monday, Nov. 19. The class is open to 20 participants, free of charge, and will take place in the upstairs of the Lindquist Center. The class is open to participants 17 years of age and older. CED 314: Cooking for the Health of It – This 12-hour cooking class with Registered Dietitian Anna Mooi focuses on preparing balanced, budget-friendly, and delicious meals for the whole family to enjoy. Topics covered include: meal planning, label reading, knife skills, cost and time saving tips, using seasonal produce, recipe alteration, and holiday eating. So let’s get cooking food that is both wholesome and tasty!
