An old fashioned family friendly county fair featuring horse shows, youth events, grandstand shows, a livestock auction, carnival rides and games, and exhibits. Admission fee includes carnival rides by K & M Amusement and free entertainment on the grounds
Friday August 9 is Senior Citizen Day sponsored by Aspirus Ironwood. Fairgoers aged 62 and over enter free from 9 am to 5 pm. Horse shows begin at 10 am. Harness racing post time is 1 pm. The Pedal Tractor Pull sponsored by the Gribble Family begins at 1 pm. On the small stage today sponsored by Chief Oil are Jim Favero with polka music at 1 pm and Mike Magee at 5 pm. The Platinum Dance Studio will perform at 3 pm. In the Grandstand at 7:30 pm sponsored by Spectrum Carnival is Richrath Project 3:30 performing the music of REO Speedwagon w/opening act at 6:30 pm the Milwaukee area based band Uncle Fester
