Festival Ironwood 2021 Depot Park opening ceremonies featuring the Ironwood American Legion Post #5 will occur at 4:00 p.m. Right afterwards, you can get in “dance mode” under the Big Top dance stage with Polka Fest & Richie Yurkovich “Polkaroity” from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The special evening food treat is the famous Yooper Wood-fire Grilled Chicken Feed which also begins at 4:00 and continues until the chicken runs out (which often does not take long–it is a wonderful “taste-ament” to Yooper grilling skill). Live music under the Big Top continues with Vanderhagen Ray from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. And–Festival get’s its ducks in a row today with the Official Launching of the Ducks at 4:15!
