Come to Ironwood, MI and enjoy a whole weekend of Pride festivities!
Pride UP is a family-friendly celebration of the beautiful Queer/LGBT+ community in Ironwood, MI and the surrounding areas.
Participants will join festivals across the nation that recognize June as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ+) Pride Month.
All are welcome to come frolic, reflect, connect, sing, and decorate yourself with YOUR true colors!
The schedule for Saturday, June 8th is as follows:
12:00 – 5:00 PM: Pride Picnic in the Park in Ironwood City Square. A colorful rainbow of vendors, organizations & Northwind Co-op sandwiches!
Entertainment on the big stage hosted by Dora Diamond:
- 12:00 PM: City of Ironwood’s Proclamation of Support for Diversity and Inclusivity Celebration Month
- 12:30: Chris Hogan
- 2:00: Woodland Screechers Pride Community Choir
- 3:30: Dirtyface
6:00 – 10:00 PM: After Party at Cold Iron Brewing with piano music by Sean Vanzeeland and a KARAOKE DANCE PARTY hosted by Lahtida. Food for sale by Suffolk Street Eatery.
