Come to Ironwood, MI and enjoy a whole weekend of Pride festivities!
Pride UP is a family-friendly celebration of the beautiful Queer/LGBT+ community in Ironwood, MI and the surrounding areas.
Participants will join festivals across the nation that recognize June as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ+) Pride Month.
All are welcome to come frolic, reflect, connect, sing, and decorate yourself with YOUR true colors!
The schedule for Sunday, June 9th is as follows:
9:30 – 11:00 AM: Core Connection Movement & Yoga with live music. Facilitated by Mora, Serene1yoga, & ZoŃ‘
11:00 – 12:00 PM: Free community Pride Cakes (pancakes) breakfast
12:00: Book Reading & Chalk Activity with Iron Range GSA and Ironwood Carnegie Library: “My Shadow is Purple” by Scott Stuart
1:00: Book Discussion with the Human Relations & Equity Committee and Ironwood Carnegie Library: “Mad Honey” by Jodi Picoult
