Downtown Ironwood First Friday Summer Concert Series is featuring FREE live music by “Afrozep” in the Downtown City Square Amphitheatre.

Event Schedule

• 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. – Farmers Market at the City Square.
• 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. – Live Music in the Downtown Pocket Park.
• 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. – Live Music by “Afrozep”.
• Food truck at the Downtown City Square.
• Many businesses open late w/special offerings.

ARTIST BIO

AfroZep is a collective of musicians that perform original arrangements of Led Zeppelin songs with African influences.
First formed in 2009 by Chicago percussionist Marshall Greenhouse the group has toured coast to coast playing festivals, venues, schools.

Having covered both Houses of Holy and Led Zeppelin II in their entirety the band has an extensive setlist of Led Zeppelin songs as well as tunes by artists like Fela Kuti, Mulatu Astatke and Tinariwen among other African music superstars.
