The Ironwood Carnegie Library is hosting a book talk with author Anne Crans on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the Women’s Clubrooms of the Ironwood Memorial Building.
Anne’s book is FILLED with memorable photographs, poems, and stories of life in the Northwoods.
Many locals knew Anne’s parents…Amy Van Ooyen, the wonderful “Bee Lady” who also wrote several books, and her father, Claude, who was an organist for several local churches.
Anne’s book is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL…filled with amazing photography of the architectural details of familiar places such as the old North Bessemer School, the Hedberg House, and scenes along M28.
