In “Basic Conversational Spanish for Travelers,” a fun series of six 90-minute sessions, Natalie Patritto will teach useful Spanish phrases for travel as well as touch on the basics of the language and its structure.
The sessions will be held on Wednesday afternoons, 4:30-6 p.m., from Sept. 25 to Oct. 30 in a Gogebic Community College classroom in Ironwood, Mich., and will cover:
● Pronunciation and basic grammar
● Greetings, days, months
● Numbers – to be used for shopping!
● Ordering in a restaurant
● Foods from the many Spanish-speaking regions
● Transportation and getting around the city
● Health-related information – going to a clinic or pharmacy
