Join Northwoods Land Trust (NWLT) for this free event on Friday, February 25 from 10am-12:30pm at the Beaver Creek Hemlocks property along Route 182 located in the town of Sherman.  Additional directions for parking and the property location will be sent to participants upon registration.

According to Troy Walters, NWLT Outreach Coordinator, “This recently acquired Northwoods Land Trust owned property has pockets of old growth hemlock trees, a unique wetland type (poor fen) surrounding a lake, views of Beaver Creek, and neat glacial landforms like eskers.”

Participants will be snowshoeing around 2-3 miles and need to bring their own snowshoes. Please RSVP by calling the Northwoods Land Trust office at 715-479-2490 or email: troy@northwoodslandtrust.org by Wednesday, February 23. Space is limited.

The Northwoods Land Trust is a non-profit organization that works with private landowners who wish to voluntarily conserve their properties.
