Fe University presents the class Courting the Muse: Reading and Writing Poetry, which begins on Tuesday, October 18th, 9:30-11:30a.m. at the Boys’ Dormitory in Lac du Flambeau, with accomplished poet Dr. Beth Tornes!
The unique and atmospheric location of Courting the Muse at the Lac du Flambeau Government Boarding School will make this poetry class unforgettable. Join a small, friendly group of fellow poets and aspiring writers. Together, you’ll read and discuss a variety of modern and contemporary poetry, and then you’ll write your own poems and share them with the group. Dr. Beth Tornes is a published poet who will create a supportive space for new, intermediate and advanced writers. Classes are Tuesdays October 18, 25, November 1 and 8. Class is $35, with a $5 discount if registration is received by October 4.
