The Diversity Matters History Study Group invites people to enjoy understanding our cultural and ethnic history through shared information and discussion!

On Monday, September 13 the group will share a presentation on the 1973 Occupations at Wounded Knee, South Dakota from 7-8:30pm CST.

The group will meet via Zoom video conferencing, with a link sent out prior to the meeting.

The Diversity Matters History Study Group was developed by the Ironwood Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Team, a group formed through the City of Ironwood whose mission is to identify and create resources and support for valuable community conversations regarding diversity, equity, sexual orientation and inclusion in the Gogebic Range area.
