The Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde 1920 American silent horror film will show at the Historic Ironwood Theatre on Saturday, October 29th at 7pm!
Starting John Barrymore, this silent films is an adaptation of the 1886 novella Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson. The story, set in late Victorian London, portrays the tragic consequences of a doctor’s experiments in separating the dual personalities he thinks define all humans: one good, the other evil. Masterfully accompanied on the Barton organ with an original score by Tim Mesun.
