Individuals living with Alzheimer’s Disease or other dementias lose their ability to use words, but families and friends can find new ways to connect despite this challenge. The public is invited to a presentation by the Alzheimer’s Association to learn more about effective communication strategies and to learn more about AD. The Ironwood Carnegie Library will also be introducing their new collection of Memory Kits which will be available for check out by family members and caregivers. Kits were created thanks to a generous grant from the Gogebic Range United Way.
