Join the Lac Vieux Desert as they remember children taken from their families and forced to live in boarding schools.
September 27 – 30, 2024 there will be a travel exhibit on the History of Boarding Schools available for public viewing in the Northern Waters Casino Event Center.
Sunday, September 29th from 1 – 3 pm there will be a panel discussion with survivors of boarding schools.
On Monday, September 30th, there will be a memorial walk with registration starting at 9AM and a walk at 10AM.
