Frederick Douglass was one of the most prominent civil rights figures in history. After escaping slavery and teaching himself to read and write, Douglass spent his life advocating for social justice and equal rights for all people. Learn more about this amazing figure in American history at a Living History presentation with Steven Cole on Tuesday, July 23rd at 6:30 p.m. at the Mercer Library.
