Get started on your own genealogy project at the Hurley Public Library on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 11 AM.
Pamela Ekholm has worked for the Wisconsin Historical Society for 18 years.
She will be at the Hurley Library to help patrons start a Genealogy Project, show you what an archive can offer a researcher (public records, citizenship process, and newspapers), and demonstrate some free genealogy sites.
Guests are encouraged to bring laptops or other devices.
The library does have free laptops to loan out thanks to the Northwest Wisconsin Workforce Investment Board.
All classes are free, and nonresidents receive free cards at the library.
