Learn how to grow your own mushrooms at Saint Maud’s
Join Eleanor, of Earth Apple Flora & Fungi, to learn about the basics of mushroom growing, log inoculation, and how to care for mushroom logs.
Participants will then put this knowledge to use by inoculating logs with Shiitake and Lions Mane mushrooms.
All participants will go home with a log and the knowledge to grow gourmet fungi.
Saint Maud’s will be offering two log inoculation classes, one for adults and one for children.
The adults’ class will take place March 19th at 5:30pm, the childrens’ class on March 26th at 5:30pm.
The childrens’ class is appropriate for kids six and older; children under twelve need to be accompanied by a guardian.
