Join ICORE – Iron County Outdoor Recreation Enthusiasts – and Extension Iron County for a hike through the past, present and future!
Park and meet at the intersection of 9th Avenue North and Gold Street in Hurley. Snowshoes recommended.
At 12:30pm members of the ICORE Trails Committee will guide a short hike (1 mile roundtrip) to the Hurley Railroad Overpass West Bridge to explore the history of the railroad, the current scenery and future trail developments.
After the hike folks are welcome to warm up with hot drinks at Sharon’s Coffeehouse and chat with the Trail Committee about current efforts to build non-motorized trails in Iron County. For any questions, feel free to call Extension Iron County at 715-561-2695.
