Have you ever looked at a broken piece of plastic, had a missing part for a project, or had a creative idea in your head and wished you could simply print the solution? “Introduction to 3D Modeling and Printing: From Idea to Object” with Tim Lutgen is the perfect place to turn those digital concepts into physical reality!

Slated for three afternoons in a row, from 4 to 6 p.m. on Oct. 19-21, at Hurley High School, this course is designed for adults who are curious about the “how-to” behind 3D printing. Tim will demystify the process by breaking it down into two core components: designing, using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software, and printing, learning how to “slice” your model and operate a 3D printer to bring it to life. No prior engineering experience is needed, just a willingness to experiment and a bit of patience as we master these tools together. Just $45, including the cost of materials!
