Here’s an introductory course for anyone who wants to learn how to work with hardwoods and has little or no knowledge of the process. In the Fe University course “Introduction to Designing and Building Cutting and Charcuterie Boards,” spend a concentrated weekend Nov. 7-8 in the Hurley High School Woodshop learning from Tim Lutgen how to work with mixed hardwoods, lay out your project, select the best wood, perform all machining under the experienced guidance, glue up, add edging and/or handles, and finish your custom creation. Best of all, you’ll be able to show off your own beautiful hardwood creation to family and friends for years to come, or gift it to loved ones for the holiday season!
Class is limited to 12 students. Register by Oct. 23 to get a $5 Early Bird discount off the regular registration price of $45! (The registration price does not include materials and required personal safety equipment.) Learn more and register at https://www.feuniversity.com/class/
