The Ironwood Carnegie Library presents the Michigan Humanities Great Michigan Read in April! The book is The Women of Copper Country by Mary Doria Russell, a story of the brave women who stood up for striking copper miners and their families in 1913 Calumet, Michigan.
The Ironwood Carnegie Library is hosting a book club meeting for The Women of Copper Country on Tuesday, April 5th at the Library. Mary Doria Russell will be in Ironwood to discuss her books and writing on Thursday, April 28th at 5:30pm at Cold Iron Brewing.
