Are you ready to witness a burst of creativity at the First Annual Ironwood ChalkFest as it unveils it’s grand debut this year?
Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 27th, 2026, 9AM – 4 PM, as City Square transforms into a vibrant artistic arena.
Join us for a community celebration that promises to captivate visitors and residents of all ages.
Local and regional artists will grace the sidewalks, turning them into colorful masterpieces waiting to be admired for a chance to win cash prizes. If you are an artist who would like to join the fun, early bird registration will begin May 1st. Cash prizes will be awarded, the winners chosen by the public whom will vote for their favorite youth (ages 12-17) and adult (18+) artists, with an additional artist’s choice award which will be voted on by the artists participating in the event.
We understand children under twelve will want to make some art too. There will also be a just for fun (no prizes or competition) chalk drawing area for children under twelve.
The community is invited to watch in awe as the artist chalk creations come to life and cast their vote for their favorite artwork.
But that’s not all – immerse yourself in a day filled with music, family friendly activities, and a special area where children can unleash their artistic talents with free chalk.
Not an artist, but want to support or get involved in this event? We are still accepting sponsorships, and we are also looking for volunteers to help the day of the event (June 27th, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., and 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.).
