Thursday, November 14, at 6:00 in Ironwood’s Depot Park will mark the the official start of the Jack Frost Festival–a full calendar of Ironwood winter-time events that runs until 25 January.
On November 14, all are invited to gather at the Historic Ironwood Depot for brief opening remarks about the Festival, choral music by LLW High School Choir members, and then the magic moment: the lighting of the Jack Frost Festival Tree.
Following the tree-lighting, all are invited into the Depot for winter-time treats and a few traditional “O Christmas Tree” verses sung the the accompaniment of the Society’s 1905 pump organ.
2018’s tree-lighting was made most wonderful by the timely addition of Mr. Jack Frost snow–and we hope for the same this year!
