Cold Iron Brewing celebrates turning 2 years old with a double header of live music. Boat Patrol takes the stage from 3-6 PM, with Justin Hipp performing from 7-10 PM. Two new beers will be debuted, an imperial dunkelweiss and an Irish red. Food will be for sale starting at noon including a poutine bar with sides.
Boat Patrol began creating music in the Fall of 2017 in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Built on an improvisational base, the trio uses a trove of influences and techniques from genres like jazz, funk and electronic to create extensive musical landscapes and textures. Avoiding simple categorization, Boat Patrol explores every nook and cranny of the musical palate with each live performance serving as a unique portrait of the band.
Justin Hipp brings his talent back to the area after a musical journey across the US. Covering 90’s and 2000’s favorites as well as his own original work, he plays a fun and energetic show.
