The Gogebic Conservation District is conducting a community needs assessment for community agriculture and local food.
They are holding a series of listening sessions open to the public for people to come and discuss issues like:
1. Where there is the most need in terms of community agriculture/local food.
2. What programs can be developed to meet those needs and address barriers.
The first session is being held at the Erwin Township Hall on Tuesday, November 28th at 4pm.
There will be local food refreshments and a door raffle.
If you have an interest in community agriculture and expanding local food production or related topic, they hope to see you there!
