We will meet at Fisherman’s Landing at 8:00 am, unload the boats and run as many vehicles as possible over to Trude Lake landing on Chippewa Road. Then we will paddle from Fisherman’s to Trude Lake and use the sandy beach area on their north shore to play with our boats and see if we can still rescue ourselves or others. You should wear your swimsuit and be prepared to get wet. This day is really fun and we learn a lot about ourselves and our boats.
The carpool from Mercer will meet at 7:30 at Cranberry Inn, just north of Mercer on Hwy 51 at the intersection with County FF. From there, take Cty FF to Popko Circle EAST and turn left, then follow Popko around to Fisherman’s Landing Road which will be on your left. Take Fisherman’s to the end. I will be coming by water and meet you there.
