Losing Mom
Four artists explore the complexities and intricacy of losing Mom – from things they wished they had asked and said, to special memories, to ways their relationships with Mom continued and evolved after death.
This exhibition invites visitors to consider their relationship with their mother and other important people in their lives.
The Downtown Art Place will be collecting stories and placing them in a memory book.
To celebrage the opening of the exhibit, there will be a Mother’s Day Tea on May 12th from 1 – 5 PM. Appetizers will be served.
The exhibit will be open May 12 – June 30, 2024 from Tuesday – Sunday, 12 – 4 pm.
