Join the Range Master Gardener Volunteers for a day of fun.
The day starts at the Iron County Memorial Building at 1pm with an educational lecture by Marta McDowell on Beatrix Potter’s Gardening Life, followed by a meet and greet with book signing.
2:30pm is the proper English tea party featuring delicious sandwiches and sweets by Toni Ratkowski.
There will be plant painting and potting, coloring, book giveaways and other fun activities.
At 4pm the Historic Ironwood Theatre presents the children’s film, Peter Rabbit and at 6pm the movie, Miss Potter, the story of Beatrix Potter’s life starring Renee Zellweger. Not interested in movies? T
he Master Gardeners will provide maps for you to drive around and check out their projects or head to Superior Gales for a Peter Rabbit inspired cocktail.
$25 adult and $10 child tickets are available at the ironwoodtheatre.net website and include all events.
