Join international tenor Miles Mykkanen (Emberlight’s Paul Sturgul Artistic Director) in an afternoon of classical music to kick off the first of seven Performance Infusions this summer at Site 18 within the Miner’s Memorial Heritage Park.

Miles graduated from the Interlochen Arts Academy before going on to earn three degrees at The Juilliard School in opera and earning a place on the greatest stages around the world including Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, and The Metropolitan Opera.

The afternoon will be a casual exploration of Miles’ favorite music, as well as highlights from his upcoming recital at the Historic Ironwood Theatre on August 28. He will play recordings alongside explanations of the music, accompanied by anecdotal stories of Miles’ many adventures around the world. Here’s your chance to spend a casual afternoon with Miles before he heads off to New York, Chicago, Portland, France, Lithuania, and Austin next season.
