The Lac Vieux Desert Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians is hosting the 5th Annual Remembrance and Healing Walk on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 from 7 AM – 12 PM CST.
This event focuses on honoring and remembering the children who were sent to Boarding Schools, many of whom were never reunited with their families or able to return home.
