Celebrate the changing of the season with Saint Maud’s!
4-6 we will have a lantern-making workshop. Supplies provided; this will be a casual event to build lanterns for our lantern walk later in the evening as we say goodbye to the sun and welcome the darker quieter season to come. *This is a pay-what-you-can workshop with a recommended donation of $10 per lantern
6-7:30pm – stay for a community meal brought to you by our friends at Late Run Coffee! The meal of Mojakka (vegetarian and meat options available) & bread will be by donation.
The Late Run crew will also have deliriously delicious beverages for sale!
if you need something sweet, we will have our community bake sale for a treat!
After we eat we will light the bonfire and our lanterns for an evening lantern walk that will end back at the bonfire. We hope that you will then stay to enjoy music and community. But wait! There is more NOT TO BE MISSED fun!
Throughout the evening there will be video installations from Father Aloha’s Video Club and Little Canary Tattoo Room will be popping up in our apse with amazing flash Tattoo options!!This is a multi-purpose event intended to bring the community we are so grateful to be a part of together in celebration as well as a opportunity to raise funds to support our goal in making Slöyd classes available to all. Come donate what you can but most of all share in this amazing community we have built together during this very special time of year.
