Come to Saint Maud’s and make a seat in their Take a Seat workshop!
In this class, participants and the instructor will work together on a classic, three-legged stool, traditionally known as creepies or milking stools.
They’re built with solid wood, using mostly hand-tools to create all parts and mortise and tenon joinery.
This is an awesomely primitive design that allows participants to embrace the organic nature of the material and not get too hung up on accuracy and details while learning the basics.
This class will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 5:30 – 8:30 pm at Saint Maud’s. The cost for the workshop is $60 and includes all materials and instruction.
